AIRS Logo

AIRS Accreditation assesses the ability of an I&R program to demonstrate full compliance with the AIRS Standards for Professional Information and Referral. It is the primary quality assurance mechanism for affirming I&R excellence.

2-1-1 Kern County, a program of Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK), provides comprehensive information and referral services that link Kern County residents to community health and human services and support.

Callers seeking assistance dial 2-1-1 and are connected with Information and Referral Specialists who utilize the same resource directory we make available here on our website. By responding to clients’ information and referral needs by phone or through our website, we ensure the information sought is provided in the most customer-friendly way possible depending on the client.

CAPK has been designated by the California Public Utilities Commission as the 2-1-1 provider for Kern County. Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the close to 900,000 residents in the county.

This web page was funded by USDA SNAP, known in California as CALFresh an equal opportunity provider and employer, and the California Department of Social Services.
